The Suffern High School Art Department will be holding it's annual Winter Art Show on December 16th at 7:00 pm. This year selected pieces will feature QR Coded tags which will link to YouTube videos of students sharing their their vision, technique, and inspiration. A QR reader app for your "Smart Phone" is needed. We recommend ScanLife because it is free, easy to use, and available for iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Palm OS and Windows Mobile.
The videos are also currently featured on our YouTube Channel

Using Storify
Fun times here at Suffern High.
My 4 sections of senior Social Studies courses have begun to utilize a website called Storify to complete their current events homework. The site runs off of login credentials from Twitter. The first run of this assignment is due tomorrow. So far results have been mixed. Many students have run into issues revolving around creating a twitter account and accessing the site through an appropriate web browser. In our classes, we accessed a compatibility site www.html5test.com to assess the usability of each browser. Results are as follows (out of a high score of 300)
Mozilla Firefox: 144
Microsoft Internet Explorer: 27
A Student's Black Berry: 1
A student's Motorola Droid: 176
A Student's iPhone 4: 188
